How we think
At ChopSati, we're not necessarily looking for a "cracked" person who already knows everything.
We're looking for people who can look at a problem, understand it, break it down, and build a practical solution around it.
We value people who can think systematically, communicate their ideas clearly, ask good questions, and sit with others to understand a problem from different perspectives before deciding on a solution.
You should be comfortable saying "I don't know," exploring an idea with someone else, changing your mind when you find a better approach, and working together to find the best practical solution.
For us, good problem-solving isn't just about finding an answer. It's about understanding why the problem exists, modeling it properly, considering the trade-offs, and building a solution that works in the real world.
We're building ChopSati from the ground up, so we're looking for people who want to think, build, learn, and solve problems together.
How we hire
- Get to know youWe talk about you, your past work and what you want. We want to learn how you think and work.
- Solve a problem togetherYou solve a practice problem with our team. It is made for the interview only. It is not our real work, and you will not touch our live products. We look at how you think, ask questions, explain ideas and work with others.
- Role-specific exerciseYou solve a small task close to the role. For engineers, this can be code or system design. For operations, it can be turning a messy problem into a clear process. For accounting, it can be checking numbers or writing a simple report. For ambassadors, it can be planning a campus event. This is also practice only. It never touches our real work.
