Founding Engineer

Build the technology that powers ChopSati, from ordering and payments to restaurant and rider tools. You will work closely with the founding team.

You do not need to know everything. We value clear thinking, good communication and a willingness to learn. Many hard problems start as messy operational issues, and you will help turn them into software.

What you will do

Build and maintain our apps, APIs and internal systems
Design systems for orders, payments, restaurants, riders and logistics
Turn real operational problems into software
Work with the operations team to understand the business
Test, debug and improve live systems
Keep systems reliable, fast and secure
Join technical discussions and help shape decisions

What you bring

Strong programming basics and problem solving
Can break a problem down and turn it into code
Communicates clearly and enjoys discussing ideas
Willing to learn new tools when needed
Real software experience matters more than certificates
Python, React or Go experience is a plus
Experience with logistics, delivery, payments or marketplaces is a plus
Experience with databases, APIs or cloud systems is a plus
